Stefan Lindfors designed this set for Iittala in 1998. Most of the collection was discontinued in 2000-01. The only pieces that the company still produces today are its collection of coffee cups and corresponding saucers. I guess these were the most popular items because of their distinctive look.
I just love the design. I have several pieces from the collection, including the 13 1/2 oz. cups which you may have seen in some of my various “feet on my coffee table” pics.
I don’t have the 7oz. coffee cups though, so I’m thinking that’s gonna to be a near future purchase.
