NASA took this photo of invisible ultraviolet light from the galaxy Andromeda. Only the hottest stars (aka the youngest and the biggest) emit much ultraviolet light.
Andromeda is also the Milky Way’s twin galaxy so this photo is the closest thing to a “full body” self-portrait as we can get.
