I’m kinda nervous that I’m speaking in German. I’ve never heard my voice in German, so maybe I’ll do that now. So I was thinking about what I should talk about in German—because when someone asks, “what will you say? say something in German!” Nothing comes to mind and it’s really terrible and it looks like you don’t really know anything. Totally insane. [Idk why I said that.] So I borrowed a book from the library, Mutter Courage und ihre Kinder (Mother Courage and Her Children) by Bertolt Brecht and I thought I could talk about that. I read Die Dreigroschenoper (The Three Penny Opera), also by Brecht, last year and I found it simply interesting and cool, really. And I was at the library and I thought I should read this. And I really did start, but I didn’t finish. Of course I didn’t, it’s like, over 100 pages, not exactly a small book and it’s not so interesting, really… Lol! but I like reading it because there are… … I don’t know that word… lol! there are unfamiliar sentences that I don’t understand. I mean, idioms… Fuck! lol! And I’m learning a lot from this book, really. And.. uh… I’m reading the first scene for the second time and I’m looking up all the words that I don’t know. And that’s it. I hope this video isn’t too long, otherwise tumblr won’t post it. So! uh. Bye!

Another thing, you kind of sound like you’re reading. I mean, I don’t know how monotone German is supposed to sound, but… you have like no inflection here. Work on it ;P and listen to more German speech so you can inflect better?
