So the other day I’m at this yoga event. I was there to film it for a possible documentary. The Yogi guru that was the subject of the documentary is a specialist in Gong meditation (yes you heard that right), and he was hosting the event. In fact, he invited me to film it.

About halfway through the evening, I approached two members of the band that was playing. I wanted an interview. I mean, that would be a pretty standard part of any STANDARD DOCUMENTARY, right?

Well apparently not to Mr. Gong, who stormed over, yelling at me to “get away from them!”

And then, believe it or not, that white bearded, gong loving yoga dude literally pushed me back with enough force to knock me off my feet!

Did I mention that this was a YOGA event?! And that this guy was a yoga GURU??!

Beware of gurus.

I’ve had some seriously dangerous run-ins with yoga teachers in the past.
