I had a question for you, starting typing, got interrupted and now I forgot what it was! So in the meantime, what’s your first memory?
I actually have some really early memories. So early in fact, that my mom doesn’t really believe me. She thinks I heard them from someone and that I’ve convinced myself that I remember it.
But I have a very vivid memory of a car accident my family was in when I was 1 year old. I can still remember the spinning feeling of the car. I remember my dad getting out of the car to assess the damage. And I remember a woman coming to the window and asking my mom if everything was okay. I actually remember every second of the experience.
And I have other vivid memories from around that time. In fact, I have a really good memory of most of my life. The only area that’s totally blank is from age 0 to 1. The year before my sister was born.

My first memory was just a few weeks after I was born (my mom didn’t believe it either but I described the color of the tent we were staying in and where I was laying in the tent). It was being in a tent in a storm at some Church Getaway.
