jetset-go asked: Hey, John! Grats on the awesomely awesome first episode! I just had a few questions for ya, if you feel up to it. Watching that episode has left me wondering: Is there a profit involved in making a series as such, being online and everything? Also: what was your inspiration?
Yay, and good luck with everything! Can't wait for the next episode!

John Cabrera’s been hard at work these past couple of months directing a rather charming indie musical web series, and it just premiered. So here, check out episode one of The Homes!
Thanks for the plug Josh! Hope you don’t mind if I plug your plug. We’re doing a hard push going into Episode 2 this Thursday.

A journey back to a more sophisticated era of musical expression.
Amazing. A lackadaisical ride on my back-in-the-daycycle, as MC Paul Barman would say.
emilyksalcedo asked: Awesome first episode! I don't want to release any spoilers, but I was surprised (more like in awe) of the way Chelsea sang the song and really loved the view it was directed from! Brilliant work by you and your team! Can't wait for episode two!
Oh snap! I’m just now realizing that the first episode of my series is embeddable. I thought it would only be viewable at lockerz.com/thehomes. But here it is on Tumblr for your viewing pleasure. And I spoke to Lockerz about this. They said the first two episodes will be available this way.
The pilot is 9 minutes long (they’re each between 8 and 10 min), so shorter than a TV-show,...
clairesalcedo asked: First off: congratulations!!
I just watched the first episode, and I'm really excited to see where it goes--I'll be watching next week! :D

Just popping in to say hello...
I know I’ve been MIA, but lots of developments on this end have me working around the clock. I’ll have more info soon.
But it looks like Episode 1 of The Homes will be premiering the last week of January now.
How is everyone? Hopefully not sick with a stomach flu like me. I gotta say this year sure did start on an achey note.
