Jingle Bells Batman Smells
This Christmas, something got me thinking about that old Jingle Bells parody. I wasn’t totally sure if it was something made up at my elementary school or if it had a longer history.
Well, thanks to the marvels of technology, I soon learned it does have a longer history. I did a web search and found this site.

How do you and your family celebrate Christmas?...
Yes, actually! My family has a heritage dinner! It includes a white fish, a sour kraut soup, mashed potatoes, veggies. I can’t remember what else, but I think the two parts that are important are the sour kraut soup and the white fish. To be honest, I’m not sure exactly what heritage it actually is, though. We just always called it our “Heritage Dinner”. My mother had it...

I think it’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. That movie works for me on so many levels. The craftsmanship is my kind of thing. The writing. The subject matter. I know it’s not a perfect film, but it always feels new to me when I watch it… and very personal.
